Ruth Henning

Miss Ruth is the owner and director of Dance in the Light.  Home schooling their 6 children, Jack and Ruth Henning decided to use dance as their children’s primary source of physical education. After six years of dance lessons, Ruth began taking their children out to local nursing homes to spread the word of Jesus to the residents through song and dance. As they continued sharing their talents in the community they became know as ‘The Henning family’ performing hundreds of shows throughout the community at nursing homes, schools, churches, festivals, parades, teas, parties etc. Seeing the need for this on a much larger scale, the Dance in the Light studio was born.
